Considering Gastric Bypass Surgery But Afraid of P
I have been in a weight range classifying me as morbidly obese for several years and am unable to sustain a weight loss for an extended period of time. I have a friend who has had success with her weight loss surgery and am seriously considering doing the same myself, but I am afraid of the potential negative outcomes. I have read about the various types of procedures including the band, Roux-en-Y, and gastric sleeve and am honestly not sure which version I would prefer to undergo. I am scared of doing anything permanent (such as the sleeve procedure) since I am still young and would like to have children if I ever get my weight under control. Although I am very heavy, I am still in good health and keep hoping I will be able to have the willpower to lose the weight on my own without medical intervention.
