Ever used dsl before? I have, and its service can vary. Depending on how close the changeover (essentially a phoneline’s data partner) is to your house can essentially determine if dsl is worth getting. But there are a few other things you need to know. The first is who you can get the service from. Right now, cable internet is very popular and Comcast is leading the way with its poor service and increasingly shady business decisions and ethics. So my advice is to check which oroviders there are, see if any have a good reputation, and then find out where the changeovers are that the providers use to route their internet.
