There’s no reason …
There’s no reason for these cars to cost so much. Mike Strizki has been running his car on Hydrogen Gas for several years and he has no reason to be full of crap.

If they want to run on Hydrogen, and be effecient they can and the expense is more than likely to make us for the owners loss of revenue do to oil profit losses. Unfortunately the likes of these people don’t consider the huge unrest of the underclasses in oil rich countries can not be managed for their personal profit.

it requires 60 kwh of electricity to produce one kg of hydrogen, which in the FCX works out to an efficiency of 1.1 mile/kwh. Plug-in cars with lithium-ion batteries like the Tesla Roadster or the Volt get 5 miles/kwh, for a nearly five-fold increase in efficiency.

These cars cost $1 …
These cars cost $1 million each and that price isn’t coming down for a long time because the fuel cell is made from platinum and the tanks are carbon fiber that has to hold 10,000 PSI. These are total vapor ware.
