2000 Ford Taurus SE emission light, mis firing after cleaning engine?

169,000 miles returned from the car wash, car was running perfect. cleaned the engine with degreaser and power washer, NOW the car mis fires and the emission light is on. What’s going on?
engine sounds like it is knocking

Water got in or on your coil pack. Take it to your local autozone they should check the codes for free. If it says multiple misfire there you go its the coil pack. Eitherways in my ford car, if it misfires, it will sound like CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK and feel like its stalling and then the check engine light will blink, and stay on.
