‘Revolutionary’ CO2 maps zoom in on greenhouse gas sources
A new, high resolution, interactive map of United States carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels has found that the emissions aren’t all where we thought. The maps and system, called Vulcan, show CO2 emissions at more than 100 times more detail than was available before. Until now, data on carbon dioxide emissions were reported, in the best cases, monthly at the level of an entire state grid. The Vulcan model examines CO2 emissions at local levels on an hourly basis. Purdue researchers say the maps are also more accurate than previous data because they are based on greenhouse gas emissions instead of estimates based on population in areas of the United States.

Revolutionary CO2 map my . What the an atmospheric transport model? Could it be similar to the misleading climate computer models that the IPCC and big Al rely on? They made up a bunch of inflated guestimations on CO2 emissions and put them into a computer to produce this animated cartoon and call it revolutionary. The american people had to foot the bill for this crap while purdue university collected tons of grant money to come up with this science fiction.

These are graphs from all kinds of data, not photographs. You obviously have ZERO idea about science. Everybody knows CO2 is invisible. That doesn’t mean you can’t measure it. I have a friend part of whose job is to drive high up in the Rockies here to collect air samples used to calibrate CO2 meters worldwide.

Ummm … Not sure here folks but you may want to do some research on what is really being measured here in these graphs. The fancy graphics are nice, but are we seeing HEAT or CO2? As far as I know, there is no way to “see” CO2 from space. Let alone CO2 PRODUCTION from space. Think about this, if it’s being produced during the day, where does it go at night? I have some serious questions about the input data of these graphs. When there is a political agenda, there is motivation.
