what is going to happen with all this talk about the emission and stuff with our cars?
i keep hearing stuff about greenhouse gases being harmful to the environment, so they want to limit car emissions and factory pollution through taxes and stuff. This is a non partisian question, so dont make it one. what will happen when they start to enforce this stuff? will the common person see any changes? please help!
To be honest, not much is going to change. You have to keep the bigger picture in mind here. Countries like India, Russia, and a large part of Europe still have antiquated rules when it comes to emissions. Take Germany for example. They still have a number of "lignite" or brown coal fired power plants. Lignite is a very very low grade of coal, that when burned produces a ton of dangerous gasses and chemicals. So while the US government might lower emission here, until the rest of the world takes up the standard and follows by it, not much is going to change.
