how can i get financial help with car repair to pass an emission test?

Here in McDonough, GA., to renew your tags (car tags) you must pass an emissions test. I can’t afford the cost if the needed repairs, and where I live there is no city transportation system (bus, train, or etc.). I work three miles from where I live and has already recieve a ticket for driving with exired tags. How can I get financial help with the needed repairs?
