This site gives you the only cars that are eligible for a tax credit, based on diesel engines. There are two different types of credits being issued. Make sure you highlight the [...]

Astronomy homework question regarding maximum emission of wavelength?

The bright star Bellatrix in the constellation Orion has a surface temperature of 21,500 K.
What is its wavelength of maximum emission in nanometers?
What color is this star?
Wein’s displacement law.
Lmax = (0.00289777 m K) / T
T = 21500 K
Lmax = 1.3478E-7 meters
Lmax = 134.78 nanometers

Do you think this Carbon Trading is a cop out?

Instead of these big corporations cleaning up their act they pass the buck by paying somebody to shoulder the burdon & continue to polute the atmosphere with poisonous gasses.
Wouldn’t the money spent in Carbon Trading be better spent in upgrading their plants to reduce the Carbon Emissions?
What??? You want someone to be responsible for [...]

S2000 has Check engine light and Autozone did a diagnostic which said P1456 (emission control systems leak)?

I went to Autozone and they ran the ECU diagnostic test and it was code p1456 which means emission control systems leak (fuel tank The check engine light came on.
The S2000 when parked in the garage smells of gasoline
it say its either:

can the fuel emissions be reduced like this?

What if starting in say, 2009 they re-vamp the Gas Guzzler tax. For every person that buys a low gas milage vehicle, for instance, 20 mpg and below they are charged a $2000 fee to the EPA. (If your gonna spend $40,000 on a vanity vehicle you should pay it anyway) Then the EPA would [...]

Germany And France Angry At EU Over Car Emission Fines…?

And so it begins. Do you not think this is a bit rich? And where exactly are these ‘fines’ going to go to?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7151862.stm
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has opposed European Union (EU) plans to cut pollution from new cars, saying it was "not economically favourable".
She said the move would burden Germany and its carmakers disproportionately.

Is there evidence of a strong connection between co2 emissions and global warming?

Is there evidence of a strong connection between co2 emissions and global warming?
is there really connections? Can you give me examples of scientists who have researched about this, and have said that it’s really is true because of that and this? Or maybe links? You’re the best if you answer!!
The last time when philosophy [...]

Does anyone know what is the sulfur and ash content of regular gasoline in ppm, and NOx emissions in kg/t?

Type into "EN228" into a search engine and maybe "Criteria" too, that is the european standard by which petrol is tested in order for it to be a saleable commodity.
If you are in the US it will be an ASTM standard rather than EN, and the German DIN standards are very meticulous also.
I know [...]
