my cars inspection & emission is expired, but im planning on getting a new car soon and trading it in. should i bother paying to get the new inspection and emission done or will the dealership care?
If I were evaluating the car with those items expired, I would assume either: there’s something mechanically wrong [...]

Does any one know the Co2 emission for the Ligier Ambra petrol engine?

The ligier Ambra has a 505 engine that has had its emissions measured, I think!

Do you think the US should institute no drive days to reduce fuel emissions?

Yes on tuesdays and thursdays so I don’t have to go to work…

1997 Cadillac DeVille O2 sensor is what I’m trying to replace on the car to get my emission. But which one?

When I look up the part I need, it has several options that vary from 2-4 wire’s. So how can I tell which one I need? I need these to pass my emission.
I also need a driver side window motor. Anybody know where I can get a inexpensive one at?

Why are we focusing on cars as the major source of global warming?

meat and dairy farms account for 65% of all green house gas emissions!! Shouldn’t we be focused on that problem as well as alternative fuels? it seems like all people are focused on is car emissions.
Please cite your source for the amount of greenhouse emissions from meat and dairy farms.
Although meat and dairy farms [...]

how can i measure my co2 emissions?

I’m looking for a wireless machine that measures the Co2 emissions of my car?
There are a number of CO2 detectors. Some are listed at:
http://www.directindustry.com/tab/co2-detector.html
In general, these items cost a few hundred dollars and provide useless information. For one thing, unless you go by a new car with lower gas mileage, there is nothing you can [...]

Similar masses of SO2 (sulfur dioxide) and NOx (nitrogen dioxide & monoxide) are produced by human activities in the US. Why would the percentage be greater for NOx? Thanks for any suggestions!
Sulfurous oxides and nitrous oxides are both common exhausts when burning fossil fuels. Fuel oil and coal both have some quantities of sulfur but [...]

I own a 2009 VW Jetta TDI (which is diesel) and I can get about 52mpg highway fairly easy. It’s not a hybrid, it doesn’t have a $10,000 battery to replace every 10yrs or less. Plus the Jetta TDI is one of the Greenest cars poduced.
FWI: The goverment does offer a $1,800 [...]
